A Contest Worth Entering

There’s always a marketing strategy when it comes to contests and giveaways. People don’t give away products or services for nothing in return. Their goal could be to gain more followers on their social media platforms, to gain more newsletter subscriptions or to build an excited fanbase for future releases. These are all valuable goals that would encourage a company or an influencer to give away a product. It’s a way of creating good connections that will hopefully bring in income down the road. And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.

Anyway, I stumbled across this contest while I was admiring PS of Sweden’s gorgeous bridle collection. I thought that this was such a fun (and generous!) contest that I just needed to share it with you.

If you’re a saddle pad addict and would love to design your own, this is your chance! Click this link which will bring you to their signup page. You’ll get an email with an attachment of PS of Sweden’s sketches. All you have to do is colour those sketches in, list the colours that you used and come up with your own inspirational quote. You can do this either on your computer through a program like Photoshop or you can print it off and colour it by hand. You’ll not only design the saddle pad, but the bonnet and polos too.

When the contest is over, PS of Sweden will choose four finalists.
Then, we all get to vote for our favourite design.
The winning design will be created and for sale by the end of this year.

Well, there’s more. When you enter their contest, you’ll get a promotional code that you can use to buy the winning design at a discounted price. That way, even if you don’t win, you’re still getting something special in return.

If you are one of the three finalists, PS of Sweden will be sending you a set of the winning design. So, you’ll receive one dressage saddle pad, one jumping saddle pad, one set of polos and one bonnet.

Now, if you’re the winner, you’ll get two sets of the design (one for you and one for a friend) AND a free bridle of your choice! I know, crazy.

I really do think that PS of Sweden were incredibly generous with this contest. What’s also great is that even if you don’t win, that doesn’t mean that PS of Sweden won’t create your design in the future. They’ll keep our designs in mind when they come up with future releases. So, you’ll never know. Maybe one day you’ll be scrolling through their website and see a colour combination that you helped design. How cool is that?!

So, get designing quick. The deadline to enter is January 7th 2020!
